Engineered wood: Real wood top layer with multiple layers underneath for stability. Suitable for most homes.


Solid wood: 100% natural wood, thicker and can be sanded multiple times, but more sensitive to moisture.

Yes, engineered wood and laminate are suitable for underfloor heating. Solid wood is generally not recommended.

Kitchens: Yes (engineered or laminate recommended).


Bathrooms: Not recommended unless specified as water-resistant.
